Liphook in Bloom Competition Week

At the time of writing this is still in full swing and what a cracking week of weather we have for it. We have had a great selection of entries this year, some 55 across our various categories and in spite of the long and hot spell we are experiencing, all of the entries have done a marvellous job at keeping their various exhibits looking just stunning.

As always, we have managed to acquire some marvellous judges from outside of the village who have used their expertise in picking their favourites. Our sincere thanks to them for their time … and endurance!

For one of the categories, Shop Windows, many many congratulations to JMB Accounting in London Road and Liphook Care in Station Road for their outstanding efforts and their well deserved GOLD awards.  There was some very stiff competition in this category and both of them must be applauded for their achievement.  Pop along to their shops and take a look.

Tension now builds until our presentation event in October to find out who of the two Golds are declared overall winner.
